I would personally like to thank all of you who kept us in your prayers during our most difficult times.

For those who attended the visitation and church service, who sent memorials as a tribute to Leonard, for all the many, many beautiful sympathy cards I received and for the phone calls from Pastor Barney and Don, I gratefully thank you.

Pastor Whirtley and Intern Derek from First English gave him a beautiful service and the uniformed VFW guards gave him and impressive 21-gun salute at the cemetery.

I never realized I had so many caring friends. I am truly Blessed.

When illness strikes or surgery becomes necessary, we come to realize how much love and caring there us in this world and particularly in our own congregation. A simple get well card takes on so much meaning. I have been truly blessed by the cards, phone calls, visits in the hospital, and gifts of food when I got home. Was anyone ever loved so much? My heart is still overflowing with gratitude for the many acts of kindness and prayers which came my way. Thank you all so very much.
