Angel Food Ministries

Our congregation, Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, serves as a host site for Angel Food Ministries in the Victoria area. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States.

Generally, one unit (box) of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food is “restaurant grade” meats, frozen vegetables, fruits, dairy products, etc. which is acquired through involvement with only the best producers/vendors of high quality, “name brand” foods. Never “seconds” or “day old” type products are involved.

You no longer need to buy a Signature box, Allergen Free or Senior Meal box to qualify for the produce, Grill and Meat boxes, or whatever else the specials may be. By opening the menu like this, it is Angel Food Ministries hope that those who may have wanted some of the other menu items without the purchase of the regular box, or those who may find it easier to afford the special boxes over the regular ones, can access the benefits that Angel Food Ministries has provided for so many.
