Eagle Scout Corner
Jonathon Stithem of Boy Scout Troop 113 is working on his Eagle project and must have it completed before he turns 18 which is in September. Here is his letter:
“My name is Jonathon Stithem and am working on my Eagle project. I will be paving a cement slab 26 X 24 for the church trailer and to do that I will be removing the metal carport cover, the boy scout trailer and the fence along side the trailer. My goal is to raise these funds and it will cost about $1400. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.”
Jacob Burnett of Boy Scout Troop 113 is also working on his Eagle project and will turn 18 in November. Here is his letter:
“My name is Jacob Burnett. I am working on my Eagle project. I will be removing the shrubs on the side of the chapel and will replace them with an assortment of plants that are native to Texas and that can stand high heat. My project will cost about $800 to $1000. Any help would be appreciated.
Donations can be made to Boy Scout Troop 113 in their names or simply give to Ronnie Stanford or Ronnie Rakowitz when you see them at church.
Boy Scout Troop 113 would like to thank everyone who helped with their recent Fish Fry. Without YOUR help this event would not have been possible. They made around $4600. Funds will help with the cost the summer camp and fund some of the many things the boys do during the year. This year the boys plan to return to El Rancho Cima near Wimberly.
