The Sr. L. Y. O. are gearing up for there trek to the 2009 National Youth Gathering in New Orleans next summer July 22nd -26th. Those already signed up to go are Megan Angerstein, Courtney Hofer, Logan Sauer, Michael Mikulenka, Curissa Groll, & Zachary Mueller. Don't be left at home. Thanks to all of you who brought your dirty cars and trucks to our car wash. We raised $455 with $400 matching funds from Thrivent. We will be using the funds to attend the Junior High Youth Gathering in November.

We had a blessed week:

• We took backpacks, bears, and balloons to the children who were in the area hospitals. We also visited a member of the church who was in the hospital.

• We helped get the apartment ready for our new Intern, Nick and his wife Holly.

• We pressure washed the sidewalks and driveway and cleaned out the flower beds by the Chapel, put down mulch and planted flowers. Thanks to David Dierlam for donating the supplies.
