    Ah, the beloved symbol of the Holy Spirit is the Dove. Gentle. Soft. Comforting. Jesus sent the promised Spirit to do that, to comfort the afflicted. But there is another symbol of the Spirit chosen by the Celtic Church perhaps more accurately descriptive of the Spirit....The Wild Goose!     Pentecost ushers in the Holy Spirit, a mighty rush of wind! Wind can blow things around, unsettle things, turn things upside down! or Wind in the form of a gentle breeze can cool and comfort from the heat! God's Spirit can and does do the same.
